Imagine that your everyday to-do lists, doodles, and the bits of language perforating your consciousness and shaping your experience, that your passions and priorities, your brain-body-soul, became little maps, as if to guide, direct, or comfort like a cup of tea, a familiar landmark, or the detritus at the bottom of your bag might attempt before sending you back into your thoughts, a daydream, a nightmare, a brainstorm, only then, to spiral you into-and-outside of yourself ouroborus-style.

Something like that might emerge as Gabriel Sacco’s Recent Renderings #5-#10, Graphite on Paper, 2024.
